![]() The start of each campaign is with low quality armor, and eventually as you progress you can reach Tiger tanks etc. However they can be repetitive looks wise.Ĭampaign progression - You have players elected to be high command, who tell the rest of the side where to attack and choose the Tier progression. Still very fun though.Īnyways, the realism is great, you have to adjust your rifles, LMGs, and ATRs at ranges, from 100-1000m.īuildings are destructible, and if your creative enough you can get on almost any rooftop. At this point we counter attacked with our armor and were capturing the base when we all get absolutely demolished. ![]() We then fell back, and as the British armor drove by the alleys most were killed or detracked. Well eventually we all got coordinated on Teamspeak, and we decided to hold our ground while we setup ATGs - Anti Tank Guns, basically small artillery - further behind us hidden in the alleys waiting for passing tanks. One side seemed to be winning then the other brought in bigger guns. They were all placing charges on the tanks when anti aircraft guns controlled by players had deployed on the other end of the street mowing us down. Our sappers charged the tanks, some made it. Remember Saving Private Ryan when the guys ran up to the tank and killed everyone inside before getting mowed down? Well, it was kind of like that. British armor rolled in once again, however we had sappers - riflemen with satchel charges to blow up tanks - set up along the buildings. The British countered by bringing in armor from the base only 400m away, but we had air superiority over town which allowed us to quickly bomb the enemy armor.Įventually both British and French airplanes took over the sky. Then more and more started to come, German troops with SMGs, rifles and sniper rifles were all lined up on the wall with me blasting away at them. It was just me alone, and some British troops ran by, I quickly mowed them down. I found myself along a fence watching a road and a small open field of grass in town near the enemy bunker. My most memorable was recently, I was playing a German with a LMG - MG34 to be exact. Well first off, some fights can be truly epic. I like to just take a break and come back to find new stuff. My subscription ends the 24th though, Ive played it in long streaks over the past couple years, this last one being 6 months. People work together and are not a bunch of OMG NUB LOLZ type of players. While it still has its bugs and everything, it is still a great game. Trust me, you have to take a transport of some kind if you're going anywhere far, running 15 virtual miles or so on foot sucks, trust me.i just tried registering their 14 days free offer, but they require me to give my Credit Card number for the demo.im not going to do that.and plus their going to bill me 19$ for the demo as a surcharge or other going to dl WOW and play in a private server if i want a mmo. And when you died you were sent allllllll the way back to rear with the gear.īy the time I made it back to the bunker the battle was over. I almost survived the battle, the first Brits that showed up were so surprised they died very fast. It was a great experience, it felt so real. I was playing a German soldier, and we had word that the Brits were coming that way so we ambushed them. I remember hiding in a bunker with a small squad for like over an hour once. Oh yeah, being patient definatley payed off back then, I guess it still does in this new version.
